What if you’re here and your soulmate’s in Spain?
I was asked this question last week. “I don’t believe in soulmates because what if I’m here and they’re there in Spain or something – chances are we’ll never meet. It makes no sense”.
I used to ponder on that in my younger days too and it made me feel defeated.
Should I worry that I’ll never meet my soulmate?
It just doesn’t work like that. If you’re thinking like that you’ve probably watched too much Disney and Hollywood, and so have jumped on the assumption that there is only one soulmate for each person.
Nope! You can have one twin flame, if you have a twin flame. It’s a major 10 step programme to complete the twin flame journey. That’s a story for another day.
Soulmates – we have many. I have and still continue to have a lot of ‘ker pow!’ moments. When the connections or the coincidences just seem so profound.
Soulmates come in many guises
Soulmates aren’t just about romance or fairy tales. A soulmate is someone your soul recognises—someone who mirrors you, challenges you, and helps you grow in ways that feel profound and meaningful. These connections can show up as partners, friends, family members, or even brief encounters – people that just pass on though that change the direction of your life.
When a soulmate enters your world, they often arrive with a sense of “rightness.” You may feel instantly comfortable or unusually drawn to them. Sometimes the connection is peaceful and supportive; other times it’s fiery and transformative. Whatever the form, soulmates bring lessons and healing.
So when I hear, “What if my soulmates are somewhere else in the world?” – here’s the beautiful truth: the universe knows how to align paths. Soul connections transcend geography, time, and logic. You don’t need to live in the same town—or even the same country—for your souls to find one another. They’ll show up when the timing is right, whether through a chance encounter, a digital message, or an unexpected twist in your journey.
My own experience
I met one of my life changers on the other side of the world. We felt an intense connection immediately – we bonded and couldn’t be parted. Luckily it turned out that we only lived a few miles apart back home. Before any of my other soulmates start sending me messages – I have only singled this one out to hit home that the universe finds you wherever you are, and Australia is the furthest I’ve physically travelled. We each have our own amazing story.
So trust that your soul mates are out there, and trust that you will find them. There’s no need to chase or worry—just continue being your authentic self, and watch as the right energies meet you exactly where you are.
